SUMMARY:2026 Block of the Month Meetup
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Block of the Month (BOM) will be made up of red, white, and blue fabrics – making 12 traditional blocks using primarily French General fabrics by Moda. You will be using traditional piecing techniques to make the 12” (12 ½” unfinished) blocks. We will have a limited number of participants.\nThere is a $35 (plus tax) registration fee to join the 2026 BOM, which includes one pattern page you will recieve each month along with your fabrics to complete the block. Everyone will be charged $5 plus tax for the January Block at the Januarv meeting.\nPlease note we will have our January and July meetings on the second Saturdays of those months.\nEveryone will be charged $5 plus tax for their January Block at the January BOM. After that if you come to The Quilting Squares on the first* Saturday of each month between 9:30 & 1:30 with your completed block, then you will receive the next month’s fabrics for FREE!\nDetails:\n\nIf you do not come on the first Saturday or have not completed your block, then you must pay $5.00 for the next set of fabrics – No Exceptions. No one else\ncan pick up your fabrics for you even on the first Saturday for free.\nYou may not pick up your blocks prior to the scheduled date.\nOne free month’s fabric set per customer. Additional sets may be purchased for $5 each (plus tax).\nWe will offer a finishing kit at the end of the year for you to purchase to finish your quilt with coordinating fabrics!\nIf you make a mistake, you will be charged for replacement fabric if it’s still available.\nThe signup fee is non-refundable.\nTimes and dates are subject to change. You may or may not receive a reminder.
