2025 Block of the Month Meetup

The 2025 Block of the Month (BOM) is a fun fall quilt – Fall Wonder. You will be making blocks that include stars and shapes, an owl, a playful hedgehog, and a few surprises. You will be making a variety of sizes of block(s) each month that will fit together for this quilt. Although, we are starting with a pattern book, there will be several changes from the original pattern to make it our own over the 12 months. You will use traditional piecing techniques to complete the blocks.

There is a $30 (plus tax) registration fee to join the 2025 BOM which includes the pattern book that you will receive in January along with your fabrics to complete the first block(s). If you already have the book then registration fee is $20.

Everyone will be charged $5 plus tax for their January Block at the January BOM. After that if you come to The Quilting Squares on the first Saturday of each month between 9:30 & 1:30 with your completed block, then you will receive the next month’s fabrics for FREE!

Details:

• If you do not come on the first Saturday or have not completed your block, then you must pay $5.00 for the next set of fabrics – No Exceptions. No one else
  can pick up your fabrics for you even on the first Saturday for free.
• You may not pick up your blocks prior to the scheduled date.
• One free month’s fabric set per customer. Additional sets may be purchased for $5 each (plus tax).
• We will offer a finishing kit at the end of the year for you to purchase to finish your quilt with coordinating fabrics!
• If you make a mistake, you will be charged for replacement fabric if it’s still available.
• The signup fee is non-refundable.
• Times and dates are subject to change. You may or may not receive a reminder.
• We do not ship the BOM, fabrics must be picked up in store.
• The store will open at 9:30 on Block of the Month Saturday.
• Come in to the store for complete rules and registration!
