2026 Block of the Month Meetup

The 2026 Block of the Month (BOM) will be made up of red, white, and blue fabrics – making 12 traditional blocks using primarily French General fabrics by Moda. You will be using traditional piecing techniques to make the 12” (12 ½” unfinished) blocks. We will have a limited number of participants.

There is a $35 (plus tax) registration fee to join the 2026 BOM, which includes one pattern page you will recieve each month along with your fabrics to complete the block. Everyone will be charged $5 plus tax for the January Block at the Januarv meeting.

Please note we will have our January and July meetings on the second Saturdays of those months.

Everyone will be charged $5 plus tax for their January Block at the January BOM. After that if you come to The Quilting Squares on the first* Saturday of each month between 9:30 & 1:30 with your completed block, then you will receive the next month’s fabrics for FREE!

Details:

• If you do not come on the first Saturday or have not completed your block, then you must pay $5.00 for the next set of fabrics – No Exceptions. No one else
  can pick up your fabrics for you even on the first Saturday for free.
• You may not pick up your blocks prior to the scheduled date.
• One free month’s fabric set per customer. Additional sets may be purchased for $5 each (plus tax).
• We will offer a finishing kit at the end of the year for you to purchase to finish your quilt with coordinating fabrics!
• If you make a mistake, you will be charged for replacement fabric if it’s still available.
• The signup fee is non-refundable.

• We do not ship the BOM, fabrics must be picked up in store.
• The store will open at 9:30 on Block of the Month Saturday.
